Giving to EBIA
Fund The Experiences That Build Innovators
Donations help turn Learning by Doing, Belonging by Design into concrete student experiences. Public-school funding supports the core of our program. Community giving helps EBIA expand the materials, opportunities, access, and experiences that make learning memorable.
What A Gift Can Support
Capstone + Project Materials
Interdisciplinary Capstones and hands-on classes require materials that students can build, test, measure, revise, display, and present. Gifts can support engineering supplies, prototypes, lab investigations, presentation materials, art supplies, and other tools that help students turn ideas into real products.
Science Olympiad
EBIA’s award-winning Science Olympiad program relies on competition registration, build materials, replacement parts, practice supplies, tools, transportation, and event preparation. Donations help students move from an idea on paper to a device they can test, troubleshoot, and improve.
Athletics
Approximately 25 teams across the year require uniforms, equipment, league fees, officials, facilities, transportation, and coaching support. Giving helps maintain broad access to athletics and replace worn equipment across multiple seasons.
Art + Theater
Art and theater require materials that allow students to turn creative ideas into public work. Giving can support paint, surfaces, tools, mixed-media supplies, costumes, sets, props, performance rights, sound, lighting, and production materials.
Field Experiences + Community Learning
Field experiences help students connect classroom learning to the world around them. Gifts can support transportation, admission costs, visiting experts, museums, science centers, outdoor learning, performances, community art, historical sites, and other Bay Area experiences.
Access + Participation
Donations can help reduce financial barriers to afterschool, athletics, field experiences, and special student opportunities so family finances do not determine who gets to participate.
Support Learning By Doing
The moments students remember often involve doing something difficult and real. It may be the prototype that finally works, the Science Olympiad device rebuilt for the fifth time, or the first game in a new sport. It may be artwork displayed publicly, a Capstone pitch defended in front of an audience, or the curtain opening on a school production.
Your support creates more of those moments.
