Athletics & Afterschool Programming
The EBIA Experience Continues After The Final Bell
Belonging by Design means students have more than one place to find a strength, build confidence, make friends, and contribute. EBIA’s athletics and afterschool opportunities extend the school day in many directions. Students can compete, move, explore STEM, create, lead, and have fun.
Sports: Approximately 25 Teams
EBIA offers athletics across fall, winter, and spring, with multiple entry points for experienced athletes and students trying a sport for the first time.
The Core Group
The Core Group provides an extended-day program built around movement, making, exploration, academic support, enrichment, and positive relationships.
Science Olympiad
Science Olympiad gives students a competitive STEM pathway built around teamwork, specialized events, and problem-solving.
The School Play
The annual middle school production gives students a collaborative arts experience with meaningful roles both onstage and behind the scenes.
Student-created Clubs
Clubs at EBIA are shaped by student interests. A student with an idea can advocate for a club, find interested peers, identify a staff sponsor, and help make it happen. That process turns extracurricular life into another opportunity for agency and innovation.
Why These Experiences Matter
Different programs reveal different strengths. A student may discover leadership on the basketball court or persistence while rebuilding a Science Olympiad device. Another may find confidence during a performance, a new friendship in afterschool, or an unexpected passion through a club they helped create.
Students should have many ways to become known at school and many ways to grow as innovators.
